Future Church is a Brisbane based church started by Ps Luke and Izumi Kennedy. They envision their church to be a welcoming place for people from all walks of life. A place where they can feel at home, get to know Christ, and build a strong foundation for the future. For this exciting church, we were asked to create the brand identity. Our logo was inspired by the concept of building a foundation. In order for the identity to grow with the church, we needed to leave a creative margin in the design. We stacked the words "future" and "church" like bricks and used an underline throughout their visual identity as a reminder of the solid foundation. We chose a colour scheme based on the different shades of skin tones to convey their core message of being a welcoming community for everyone.
